European Commission officials today expressed optimism that Albania will solve maritime border dispute it has with Greece in order it can reach its ambition of closing accession negotiations in 2027 and then become member of the EU. The condition of solving the dispute is part of the Negotiating Framework of July 2022 agreed between Albania and the EU.
